Our approach to Kroto’s SEO focused on maximizing the potential of what they already had. Here’s the breakdown of our work:
1. Keyword-Driven Content Strategy
We began with in-depth keyword research, identifying top-of-the-funnel keywords related to “how-to” queries that aligned with Kroto’s expertise. We built an editorial calendar of guides targeting these frequently searched questions, creating content like “How to Change Margins in Google Docs” and “How to Add Music in Google Slides.” Each guide was optimized to capture relevant traffic and build authority.

Kroto initially ranked for fewer than 100 keywords. By November, they ranked for 1,700 keywords, including several top-of-the-funnel terms that attract high-intent visitors. This substantial growth in keyword reach has strengthened Kroto’s position in the search landscape.
Clicks Doubled
Our improvements led to a significant rise in organic clicks, from 292 in August to 769 by early November. This increase in traffic means more potential customers are discovering Kroto through search each day.
Domain Authority Enhanced
While we didn’t prioritize link building, our optimization efforts still contributed to a notable increase in Domain Rating (DR), moving from 21 to 27 over the course of the engagement.
